The EHR reports (figure 23) are specific for compliance with Medicare’s Meaningful Use. All the data required for the EHR reports comes from the ChiroPadEMR section of ChiroSuiteEHR. These reports are available in the complete ChiroSuiteEHR and ChiroPadEMR. If the practice has only ChiroOffice, the EHR reports are not available.
The EHR reports are required to qualify for the Medicare Incentive Stimulus Program which, at its inception, had the potential to put up to $44,000.00 in bonus payments in each doctor’s account. Now, as each year passes, the maximum amount is being reduced and the program will eventually fade. However, by the time it is gone, any doctor that treats Medicare patients will be penalized if the data is not collected and the reports are not generated.
